Paleo Diet – Heart Healthy Diet

October 19th, 2011

Worried about your heart? Is there really a heart healthy diet that I can trust? Heart disease should be a concern to all of us because there are over 60 million Americans that now have coronary disease to some degree. Some doctors claim that heart disease is on the decline because of modern science’s ability to detect it early and treat it successfully but don’t be fooled. Even conditions of advanced cardiovascular disease are difficult to detect. Dr. William Radford, for example did a study of 328 people who had died suddenly of a heart attack, all of whom had received an examination 6 month before their death and not a single physician had predicted a heart attack.

The sad reality of cardiovascular disease is that it does not manifest itself until you experience a heart attack or stroke and when that happens there is nothing that can be done to reverse the damage. Treatment at that point is only a process of relieving the symptoms.

The alternative is prevention and it’s really not such a big deal when you consider your alternatives. The Paleo Diet is a heart healthy diet that can give you a new on lease on life. It can strengthen your body, get your organs functioning properly, improve skin tone, increase endurance, improve your immune system, improve your sex life, and all while reducing that spare tire around your waste. Seems like a lot of hype huh?

Face it man has engineered and processed our food sources to the point that we don’t even recognize what a packaged food product is without the picture and if we cannot recognize this food do you think that our body does? Our liver is the man defense against toxins entering our body and toxins created by our modern diet over whelm our defenses and those toxins enter into our blood stream as free agents. Free agents ambush our defenseless organs and without a viable source of nutrients our organs become diseased and start a slow death.
